Rhinoliths, also known as nasal calculi, are uncommon lesions that result from a chronic inflammatory response to complete or partial mineralized encrustation of intranasal foreign bodies. They are most commonly seen in children and cognitively impaired adults who insert foreign bodies into their nose.

If unilateral right-sided nasal obstruction with foul-smelling purulent discharge is detected in a young adult and nasal examination reveals a mass on the floor of the cavity, a rhinolith should be strongly considered in the differential diagnosis.

Rhinoliths are mineralised foreign bodies in the nasal cavity that are a chance finding at anterior rhinoscopy. Undiscovered, they grow appreciably in size and can cause a foul-smelling nasal discharge and breathing problems.

Rhinoliths are uncommon foreign bodies of the nose formed by in situ calcification of intranasal endogenous or exogenous foreign material.

Rhinolith is a hard nasal mass formed in time by the mineral salts around an endogenous or exogenous-originating nidus. Rhinolith, which is seen rarely, has been reported in the literature as case reports. In this study, we are presenting the demographic and clinical features together with accompanying sinonasal pathologies of 23 rhinolith cases.

When mineral salts are deposited on a long-retained foreign body, the object is called a rhinolith. A nasal foreign body is suspected in any patient with a unilateral, foul-smelling, bloody, purulent rhinorrhea.

A rhinolith is a stone present in the nasal cavity. The word is derived from the roots rhino- and -lith, literally meaning "nose stone". It is an uncommon medical phenomenon, not to be confused with dried nasal mucus.

An antrolith is a calcified mass within the maxillary sinus. The origin of the nidus of calcification may be extrinsic (foreign body in sinus) or intrinsic (stagnant mucus and fungal ball). Most antroliths are small and asymptomatic. Larger ones may present as sinusitis with symptoms like pain and discharge.

Rhinoliths are foreign bodies composed of mineralised deposits in the nasal cavity that are rarely encountered in routine dental practice. The current report presents a case of a 77-year-old female patient who visited a dental treatment centre for a routine dental check-up and prophylaxis.
